If you should fancy a cobbling heavy duty machine as a project here is an affordable one with other vintage cobbling equipment and pretty badly listed:
Vintage industrial treadle sawing machine large heavy duty https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F152860832811

I think they use a redundant needle type tho... so Caveat Emptor!

But they are usually still a lot more expensive than this.

It looks to be a beast of a machine - and with all the other paraphenalia might even be usable as a saw!   :fish:

A bit close geographically for comfort, but as I don't make/repair shoes I won't get tempted.
Brenda.  My machines are: Corona, a 1953 Singer 201K-3, Caroline, a 1940 Singer 201K-3, Thirza, 1949 Singer 221K, Azilia, 1957 Singer 201K-MK2 and Vera, a Husqvarna 350 SewEasy about 20 years old. Also Bernina 1150 overlocker and Elna 444 Coverstitcher.

Seems to have evaporated now...

Still a fun auction to see even if it was completely safe from us!
