I had to fudge the blocks a bit to get them to meet properly

Well yeah, Obviously its been fudged ... anyone can see that!! >:)

Are you kidding, it looks immaculate!
Should I put the measurements into the Tut do you think?

Ah, but you should have seen it before I "encouraged" the pieces to play nicely.  :D
If we are all PPing the block there's probably no need to put in the measurements, and if anyone wants to piece it normally  :S then they can just measure your printout pieces. xx

You were the only one I sent the template to, as yet!

Do the Darksiders think they would like a regular PPBOM ???

Yes you do!  It's multi-coloured and very talented.  And we're benefiting from it.   :toast:
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

As it doesn't look like Syrinx is able to participate at the moment ( she hasn't been logged in since Jan 2nd ) and you don't mind stepping into the breach Imi, I think it would be a good idea  :)

I love FPP so I would definitely join in.  If it was too much for you, Imi, maybe we could each take a turn.

I'm in, although I wouldn't have a clue how to do the tutes.
PS I haven't got a life either Imi, just dog walking and quilts. But I like both, so why not?  ;)

My life is shrinking rapidly  :D I'm afraid the whole concept of FPP is way beyond me, but I'll be supportive and lookforward to seeing what all you clever girls can do  <3

Lowena, I put off FPP for years because it sounded so daunting, but then saw a tutorial in a magazine by Carol Doak and thought I'd give it a try. I was amazed that it wasn't anywhere near as hard as I thought. Start with a simple design without too many pieces and you may surprise yourself. Carol Doak has a web site with some free patterns to try.

Its Carol Doak Foundation paper that I am using at the present, having nabbed some a while ago ... its useful as its A4 and printer friendly but it just need low grade (low gram per square metre??? GSM) paper.

You may be just dog walking and quilting SG (and I agree whats wrong with that) but you're doing it in the sunshine by the sea! Just maybe I'll come and join you one day now that I'm officially on the scrap heap!

I'll try and get a mid month thread going then, like Syrinx was going to do, but you'll have to count the Squall at Sea as an early installment.

I'd certainly have a go at fpp.  It wouldn't have to be a monthly one Iminei, that's a big commitment alongside the BOMs it could just be a random one here and there.
Life's too short for ironing.
