Saw these yesterday parrsfreemotionrulers being demo at the nec and I am not a quilter have dabble a bit , but these looked very good .they are made my a husband and wife team who is her self a quilter .

Thanks for the link Stitches. Also check out Leah Day on Youtube, she is using ordinary rulers with sticky on the back to help grip, you just need the proper foot. I haven't had a go yet but I've got plenty of templates, must get garment sewing out of the way first.

Excellent demo for the first timer

She has plenty more demos with different types of rulers.  I like that AW is a big fan of 'Do what works for you' and makes the point that real life is not about perfection and straight-ish, and -ish generally is okay.

Now we all know that P&Q is not really my area of interest.  That said, I can do ruler work and for the few pieces that I actually quilt, mostly I use the simple dot-to-dot type technique.

Ooh! Just the picture at the top of the landing page is enough to get me interested! I hope they ship to the US.
