Sakar this quilt has been on my list for ages. You've done a truly beautiful job of it. Congrats.

And yes, it is
Winter nights can be cold and I wanted the quilt large enough for the young couple to fit underneath

Both of the quilts are fantastic Sakar. You have my utmost respect. I tried the binding star quilt as well from Jenny's tutorial and it worked ok but I couldn't work out how to enlarge it and gave it up in the end. The dog loved it in her basket though, so it wasn't wasted. Yours is truly beautiful.

Yes, it was "a bit" tricky and it took me a while to come to an end with those blocks... and it looks better while standing back a little bit
Fortunately it works fine with this dark background.

The wedding quilt is just beautiful. And such a big one....how much fun was it to tackle and put together!?

That is beautiful , as usual. What do the symbols in the middle mean? What a special gift for the happy couple!

It was great fun to put it together, especially because I couldn't decide on the style, so I made a kind of "how to finish this top?" party with my mother and a quilting-friend
The couple is very religious and I know, what their faith means to them.
Those 3 symbols are the "main-basics" for the Christian faith in the Catholic church (in traditional colours)
Tau-Cross: Faith (no specific colour)
Heart: love (red)
Anchor: Hope (green)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theological_virtues
And because it's a wedding gift I added the rings to it, but that's my free interpretation
