It's lovely to have you here - nothing nicer than a bit of armchair travel. Whereabouts are you - is it very chilly and what's your sewing world like there?

I live on the coast of Washington state. The Pacific Ocean keeps us temperate,  rarely below 0°C in the winter or above 23°C in the summer, but we do get quite a bit of rain (185 cm per year). I had just discovered the previous forum about 3 weeks before it vanished.  We have a small quilt shop in town, but the closest full service fabric store is 120km away.

Wow!  That's a long time.  I've been to England and I'm confident I would enjoy living there.    Thanks on the name, it's an anagram for Dani Sews.  It seem serendipitous since I had just moved to the rugged WA coast.
