I've never heard of it or the designer before but there is an instagram showing the coat made up in different fabrics  so maybe that's worth looking at too?

Really like that - can't see anywhere it says how much fabric it takes?

Fabric requirements here.  There is also a full video tutorial that goes with the pattern.

Has anyone watched the video....arms stitched to body rather sides sewn up.....then shape the neckline?..what’s that all about, surely that should have been be done when the pattern was drafted.
Too late now I’ve bought the pattern, I feel a little tinkering coming  on!

Thanks UR. Haven't had time to watch all of it yet, but am very tempted to buy the pattern (I hate sticking bits of paper together, so I would splash out on the "whole" one. Shall look forward to hearing about yours with interest Efemera.

Have ordered my pattern. Had been wondering about fabric - I can't get out much now so generally have to buy online. However, I've just remembered a piece I bought years ago. We used to do antique fairs and I bought it to go on our table. I'm sure it's still in a box in the garage somewhere. If it's as I remember and hasn't got moths.............

Have just been looking at this pattern and sm quite tempted. No fastenings though so would have to add some. Not sure about all the bias binding - isn't that why overlockers were invented?

I'm going to overlock mine certainly - there are only 1/4" seam allowances on the pattern. I think I will also line it though. I don't like struggling to get a coat on and off!

If you are lining it you probably wouldn't need to overlock edges unless the fabric frays. 1/4 inch doesn't sound like much. I'd be tempted to make the seams wider. I have an unlined coat made with a Marcy Tilton pattern and it isn't a struggle to get on and off as the body of the coat is wide and the sleeves, including the armscye are pretty wide. You might be ok not lining it.

I’m not binding the seams either...I’ll do a mock flat felled seam using the overlocker... I fancy some really funky fabric, may have a look at some curtain stuff.
