I’m not quite sure where to post this so am putting it here.

I made this cushion cover for DS who as you may remember is a “batman”.  The picture is raw edge appliqué with free machine embroidery from Raggedy Ruff Designs.  I am pleased with it although there are things I would do differently doing it again.

love your little bat. I'm sure your big bat lover (doesn't sound quite right) will adore it too.
Did it take long to make?

Nicely done, twopence.  I am sure patchwork and quilting would accept it, although I never venture there. :D

Love it twopence.  I'm sure your son will too but if he's not keen there's a home for it here - bats are one of my favourite things.

We used to see loads of bats but sadly very few now.

I saw one last weekend and was very excited (sad I know).

The cushion is wonderful twopence, very atmospheric.

It didn’t take too long to do the picture once I started.  It probably took me longer to remember how to get the BSR to work from the go button.  I should have lengthened the stitch length rather than use the default.  It’s just a simple envelope style cushion cover.
