I figure most will forgive me for my American misspellings and weird colloquialisms knowing I'm not in the UK.
Well that seems to apply to me too these days. My misspellings are accidental but my grandchildren look at me quizzically as I fondly repeat my mother's quaint sayings, sadly no longer in common usage with the young anywhere. At least my daughter knows what I'm talking about.
