@StitchinTime  Lady SewnSew were my first call yesterday afternoon.....

Jane said there was one in the box but it turned out to be another colourway that someone had misplaced there! AAggh!! They have great customer service and if they had one I would be receiving it this morning or tomorrow at the latest.

Im hoping that Cherry Tree fabrics (Boscombe, about 20 miles away) have some ... I have a friend who lives nearby and hes willing to get it to me today if they do!

Midsomer Quilting probably will have it but they are closed til Friday and an hour and a half from me!

Cherry Tree fabrics sounds promising. Fingers crossed.

Do you have lots more quilting to do?

Only 3 lines!? Aaaaaaargh!!

Take deep breaths....this is do-able. It's just a little hiccup. You'll get the thread and then it will be done.

Breathe in through the nose.....hmmmmmmmmmm

And out through the mouth....whooooooooooooooo

Phew!

Jaycotts are pretty good. They're my go-to place for zips and stuff because I know the order will arrive within a day or two. I'm so pleased you've got it sorted out.  :)

SSShhhh!!! Dont jinx it!!!

So today I have
cut, joined and pressed the binding
Made a fabric envelope for the back of TV (to hold the entry slip)
and attached the labels to the packaging,

Cant really do anymore so might hobble into town to get something for dinner.

Apart from Threadgate, we have just been told our Home Emergency Insurance is NOT going to repair our boiler (we have been without hot water or heating for the last 15 days) and my Insurance company are trying to get a settlement out of them (sigh) and a big part of our fence has blown down in the wind and Imself has had to cut back down our lovely evergreen clematis  and a large part of our bamboo ... Oh and the gate wont stay closed because the archway has moved!

IT IS DONE!!!!!

It has been quilted, bound, hanging sleeve hand stitched on (remarkably pleasant experience considering my loathing of HS) and is Hung.

The first time I tried to hang it it was all skew-whiff ....

AAAGGGHHHH!! I thought my heart might stop!!

What had happened?? It was fine when I hung it with the hanging sleeve pinned ... What could I have done wrong????

I took it down, took the Dowel out of the sleeve and found the culprit, a rogue yellow pin!!!

Rehung it and ... It hangs beautifully! Well as nice as it can ...
and will hang better at FOQ as they use laths rather than 2" round dowels

'Scuse the pic; its the only place I can hang it ....    a narrow landing

Im leaving it to hang while I have some lunch and then will do the final press (Oh yes; no pressing has gone on in that pic btw) and add the few embellishments I want to and then .... It's done!
