Jumping in, greetings from Western Canada!
« on: March 14, 2018, 17:35:05 PM »
I’m looking forward to participating here and getting to know you all  :drink:
I’m a young 55 years old and have been sewing and since I was seven.
I mostly enjoy sewing garments for myself and immediate family (but really mostly myself ).
The last few years, I have been exploring different methods of drafting my personal slopers, both by hand and computer aided drawing.
Lately I have been diving into bra and lingerie making and have found it to be fun and much easier than I thought.
I haven’t explored quilting beyond simple bed quilts and holiday themed pieces, but do have a machine with an embroidery module which is currently gathering dust.
I used to knit a lot when my children were small because of the ease of portability, but really need to get back into it again.  There’s so many beautiful and interesting yarns available these days.   The internet has opened up so many possibilities, I find focusing on the next project is something I need to work on!
Again, glad to be here, talk to you soon  :)

Hello Seapebbles and welcome from me too.

I know just what you mean about focus, I'm either tootling about wasting time or dashing towards deadlines, no half measures it seems.
Hopefully back more regularly! Ballroom sewing may be permanently paused but bag making is the current focus.
