Very pleased with myself.  It is FAR from perfect, but it is my first ever tutu, and it has taken me ages to summon up the courage to actually got for it...  I still need to tack it so it is less fluffy, and possibly decorate it, but I am just going to admire it as it is for a while first.

That's lovely Oakmaiden and what a gorgeous colour! Its a very satisfying feeling making a tutu isn't it.  ;)

That's great and I love that colour - teal is one  of my favourite blues. :)

In honesty, I have just about wrenched my shoulder from patting myself on the back!  Despite the imperfections (which are obvious up close, but not from photo distance!) I am blooming pleased with it.  :)

Looks pretty good to me.  I've sewn lycra OK before, but yards and yards of tulle netting  0_0
Brenda.  My machines are: Corona, a 1953 Singer 201K-3, Caroline, a 1940 Singer 201K-3, Thirza, 1949 Singer 221K, Azilia, 1957 Singer 201K-MK2 and Vera, a Husqvarna 350 SewEasy about 20 years old. Also Bernina 1150 overlocker and Elna 444 Coverstitcher.

Looks fantastic ! I have everything ready for my first one, also using danis pattern. I did a trial with cheap Lycra and hit a few hurdles, just the simplest of things. Just got to get the corsage to start this one xxxx
