Hello I am from the UK and am not really new I registered a while ago but got waylaid by life, then lost my password and so I am sure you know what I mean.
I sew mainly garments but am interested in lots of aspects of sewing, I have done a little quilting but am no expert.  I use and teach embroidery machines and the software, Overlockers are my great love, I also  love to knit and also sometimes bead.
I have had a break recently from sewing but really want to get back into it, I am looking forward to reading more on this site

Hi Celia - nice to meet you.  :flower: It's funny to hear Surrey referred to as "South West" - I think I agree with @Francesca that it's sort of in the middle. There are a few of us in the South West Pointy Bit (ie Cornwall) but I think you'll find your climate is a lot better than ours. (It rains a lot here. :S)
