Hope these help. You just place material on top of the sticky bit and smooth it out then you are ready to embroider.

And what about after ... cut away? tear away? wash away?

Will the underside of the fabric where its been embroidered be sticky ???

Sorry but I really know nothing about this stuff.  :(

No It doesn't leave it tacky. You should be able to just tearaway the stabaliser from around your embroidery like you would normally do.  I don't use mine very often as I prefer using polymesh type cutaway and 505 spray.  Then it's all done. Have a practise first it took me several goes with sticky stabaliser.

I seem to remember you said you had plenty of fabric Imi - no problem if you have a few test runs.   :)
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

@Iminei, I have been away for a couple of months so only just catching up on things and just wondering how you are getting on with the lobsters? Have I missed the finished article posted else were or are you still dithering?

No @sewmuchmore , I havent done anything yet as I was a lil preoccupied with FOQ and TV.

So as soon as I have restored order to the downstairs (just the dining room to do .... Just .... :S) and my sewing/art/wardrobe/spare room upstairs ....
both of which had to be turned upside down in order to fit the new boiler I will be back to sewing ... and after the embroidery on TV, Im quietly confident (that will last all of 5 minutes!!!)
