My black, yellow and grey scuba is destined to be a hoodie jacket.  New Look 6142.  Have just spent ages trying to find somewhere online that has open ended zips, and cord and herringbone tape for the neck.  In the end I found RibbonMoon and added a reel of thread to take it over their minimum spend of £5.  I've not heard of them before so fingers crossed.
Brenda.  My machines are: Corona, a 1953 Singer 201K-3, Caroline, a 1940 Singer 201K-3, Thirza, 1949 Singer 221K, Azilia, 1957 Singer 201K-MK2 and Vera, a Husqvarna 350 SewEasy about 20 years old. Also Bernina 1150 overlocker and Elna 444 Coverstitcher.

I’ve used Ribbonmoon, quick delivery and sent what I asked for, so no complaints.

A top of some sort  :D

I also ordered a metre each of beige and grey with the vague thought of combining them - that pic of a Chanel frock inspired me, but no proper plans for it yet.

Not 'in your face' floral, but I can see flowers. So yes, it counts as florals.  :)

Ooh, I might join in in this one.  I have a floral drill that I am wanting to make a skirt with, and also a floral print that I want to make a top out of, but I need to find some polka dot fabric to go with it as there isn't enough of the floral for the top.  *off to have a look*

I have an idea that involves multiple florals that might actually be right for the Scraps contest too. OH will be gone 2-3 days later this month so hope to play then.

I like those dandelions. Quite subtle.
Hey Bill! Read the manual!  Hehehe.

I'm going to have a try at Vogue 9271.
I want to have a play at that ripped fabric on the front.

Love the fabric.  It has a Japanese look.

That looks interesting, Fajita - how have they done that?  Is it strips of fabric, or one piece with cuts?  Or??

It looks very like the technique used by Koos van den Akker on this skirt

You sew a piece of jersey down with lots and LOTS of parallel lines, then cut between them, through the top layer only. and leave the raw edges to curl.  With a woven, I suppose they would fray
The long strips on the Koos skirt are narrow jersey strips, arranged in swirls, and stitched down along both edges.  Time consuming, but not [fortunately for me] an exact science!
The end result is tactile, and changes with washing and wearing
