[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]  I love the Dottie Angel range!  Anyway here is my dress. It’s such a nice casual dress that i think can just be pulled on rather than a pair of jeans.  I see me in the summer on a Sunday morning putting it on and going for a walk down Exmouth beach.   Muv of course may not quite agree on the fact that i’ve used her £22 per metre shot silk!  But then I am her favourite daughter .... It is unironed.

What’s shot silk for if not to sew up?

Oh that is really lovely Dolly.  I'd wear silk all day every day if I could, beach or no beach!

Beautiful RD, I love that colour!  It would be a perfect match for a dress I'm planning for the lovely Lilya!  Can you remember where you bought it?

@b15erk the silk is from muv’s stash.   I have just over half a metre uncut left, plus a few scraps, more than happy to pop it in an envelope to you if that’s enough?   I’ve checked with HQ, she is happy for you to have it.   She actually made about five bridesmaid’s dresses from it so she is pretty sick of the sight of it truth be told!

RD, that is very kind of you!  Please let me know how I can re-imburse you.

Thank your Muv very much, I make the Marina Brumpton Vivienne dress for Lilya, which is a Princess style bodice, and I have a lovely floral for the skirt - I think 1/2 mtr will be ample!

It is in the post box ready to wing its way to your work address @b15erk.  Hope it is okay for what you need.

Oh my word RD!  You don't let the grass grow do you?  Thank you so much, my DGD will have a new dress soon!

Well we want a happy Lilya!  Anyway I was visiting muv who lives in Honiton and their local post office is close by so it made sense to get it off plus I was able to nick an envelope from farve’s study as he does like to be prepared for every eventuality.

You can't leave beautiful silk like that uncut and unworn.  You and your muv do make make me laugh every time I read something about you, thank you  <3

Love the colour. What is fabric if not to cut up and be worn? What else would you do with it as I’m sure the moths would love it. Wear with joy.
