Half price Gutermann thread in Hobbycraft's sewing event

I noticed their sewing event is on yesterday and did my usual scan of their Gutermann thread. I've still not tried out the metallic thread I got in their last sale but, that's not the point, is it?!

I like to get the big 1000m reels on sale but usually the white has sold out by the time I get there. Quite a few left yesterday so I'm assuming I've caught it early on this time. Some other reductions too but it's the thread I get most excited by.  :thread:  0_0
Hopefully back more regularly! Ballroom sewing may be permanently paused but bag making is the current focus.

Thank you for letting us know about this. I've been getting very low on my black thread and have just stocked up with a couple of the large reels.

If the thread that you want isn't in the shop you can order online and collect in your local shop.

Ty. I just topped up my threads. I was only thinking this week that my basics (black, white, blue) were running low.

Apart from the obvious - black , white, (possibly ecru and grey) how do you know you would need that much of any colour?

Quilts can take up an awful lot of thread.

I've just checked, my 'big' reels (bought at now closed quilt shop when I was spending time on The Dark Side) are YLI and King Tut.
Think I only used Gutterman for other sewing.

Barnacles!
Just realised that I will need quite a bit of thread for a project that has been hiding in the cupboard for far too long. Trouble is the thread will need to match the lining

and I haven't bought the lining yet.

Enter SS blushing the deepest shade of crimson you can imagine - just checked and I do have the linings (I did say the project had been hiding in the cupboard for far too long)
