Help with stripes.

Thought I'd make myself a quick t-shirt New Look 6216. Wide striped jersey. Decided the neck band will be green. But how should I position the stripes?

Green or navy across the bust? Options please. I have bony square shoulders and fairly big bust, would the navy make it stand out even more?

I'd say green as it ties in with the neckline but I bet you've cut it by now.

I stood infront of the mirror and decided on navy below the bust to slim my waist. Nearly done but interrupted by school run. Might get to finish it after tea.my best neckline yet.

It went well. Made one for my eldest with what was left.
Finally got the settings right on my sewing machine for jersey.

I wore mine yesterday and managed to do BBQ without getting soot on it then dropped raspberry sorbet down it! Right on the middle of a white stripe. Came out ok. Phew.

Considering adding sleeve cuffs to mine too. And maybe shaping the sides a little too.
