I made this just before I joined SP.
It's for my 3yo granddaughter.
The waist seam is a bit stretched but apart from that  :D
These are quick pictures I did for DD. The embroidery, which was done before cutting out, isn't as off centre as it looks. The hems were covered stitched with embroidery thread, which surprisingly didn't snap.

the pattern is McCall's 7274

ETA Its a slightly lighter navy than in the picture and its made from cotton jersey tee-shirting.
The embroidery pattern is from two which are built into my machine.

Oh, I bet she really loved this!!!  :D  You've set the bar high so big expectations for the next one.

What have you got planned?
Hopefully back more regularly! Ballroom sewing may be permanently paused but bag making is the current focus.

She is a lucky little lady.

Be careful  - she will be putting in orders for outfits with her own choice of embroidery on them!

That's super, I've not embroidered on jersey yet, what stabiliser did you use?  I'm a big fan of washaway stabiliser on fleece, and thought I'd try it on jersey next.

Yeah! You do!  :)

Mama and Bodgeit I used some iron on stabilizer which I bought from John Lewis a while back. I think its by Janome. The fabric was then hooped, once it was on the machine I slid piece of Vilene tear away stabilize under the area to be embroidered. My machine has the ability to tack around an embroidery, so that helps keep it in place
