Rayon Challis

I am a novice when it comes to making my own clothes. I have had some success with Jersey. I want to make a blouse with Rayon Challis. Is it a very difficult fabric to work with and do you have any good tips for using it? Thanks

It drapes beautifully..... but creases badly.

I agree, it's a standing-up fabric!

I love rayon challis for summer dresses and blouses but I agree that it creases badly! I usually use prints as they hide the creases.
Agree also with Fran that you need a good plan for finishing the seams - I've found that overlocking sometimes is not even sufficient, I've had seams fray through overlocking.

I would say go for a very simple style for a first time!

You can also starch it heavily to make it easier to cut and sew, then wash it.
