Great idea @Mr Twingo, I love how different all the entries are.

Agreed. It's great how broad a range of items have been created and to see where our sewing talents lay. Plenty of inspiration in this thread.

Yes, of course you will.

I am just preparing the pictures  :D But my DH went  on business trip yesterday, so I have to split up my time a little bit and can only work on the computer, when the "little Wolf" is sleeping ;)

But yes, there will be pics :D

@Mr Twingo: What a great idea!! 0_0 They look really professional! Very well done!!

So, my entry for this contest is finished now  :D

Please, just give me some time (10-15min) to finish this post, because my computer is crashing down regularly so I have to save and edit this post several times  until it's done ;-) Finished ;)

I may proudly present... my "new" guitar bag :D

The frontside with one of the most wonderful churches in the world (in my mind ;)) and a big zipper, where some sheets of music or a small folder can be put in.

On the backside I have added 2 small pockets on the top for the guitar-tuner and 1 big pocket in the middle to hide some straps.

On the sides I have added some decorative stitches in same colour as the main-zipper and a silver cording.

There are several ways of carrying the bag:

1st: Top handle (to get it out of the car)
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

2nd: front handlebar (there is another one on the backside on the same position)
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

3rd: side handlebar (and yes, my DH is already wearing some trousers for the next recycling project  0_0)
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

4th: use the hidden straps to carry it as a backpack

And last but not least, I have sewn the church and the cording in reflecting material, because I often have to go by bicycle especially in wintertimes. Safety first  :P

So in the end: who can say to have a guitar bag from Levi Strauss at home?  :D :P

That is fantastic Sakar!  I am jealous - and so is my guitar!
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

Wow! That has to be the winner! I like the idea of using reflective piping & tape for the design (it is a wonderful cathedral in Reykjavik I agree). Your handles are well thought out. The Greek keyhole stitching round the sides must have taken ages and is very effective.

Have you also been in Reykjavik? What did you visit? We had "just" 4 days there, but somehow I have the feeling that I missed something  :S Or I just miss the whole Island.....  :loveit:
The greek stitching wasn't that time-consuming ;), I think about half an hour. So compared to the time I want to use this bag... it's nothing  ;)
