From the US website.  An awful lot is just  :\ but I picked out

and

particularly the floral version as genuinely different.

I've just Googled Simplicity 8691 and found four different patterns.  Why do they keep re-using the same number?  >< :[ -<

That MimiG dress does not appeal to me at all, but as you said, at least it's different.

You took the words from my mouth and put them into a much nicer sentence. Not a Mimi G fan- something rather off putting about many of her designs for me.
Hey Bill! Read the manual!  Hehehe.

I like the wrap dress but I just can wear them. I do like this..I’m partial to smock styles.

Interestingly, they have an "athleisure" top that would make a cycle jersey - but raglan sleeves so no good for a sleevelss version that I want now.

0_0  0_0 It plays havoc with pattern reviews.  I have seen a garment described as a dress with the acccompanying pattern photo a soft toy.

I'm not a fan of her 'hoochie mama' style, but occasionally she makes a detour and I love the floral version.

Nothing appeals, I've got so many patterns that go back some years that a lot of these are very similar to ones I already own.

Reading through this, the only one I like is the old 8691 shown by @BrendaP at the top of the list - the straight, long-sleeved one with the flounced hem.  Guess I'm just a couple of decades behind the game  :S

That is actually in the "new" collection from the US website!

I must be getting very old fashioned.  I would look silly in any of those. :'(

I cheered up for a moment there, thought 'There's hope yet', then realised that the new one is at the top of the list, a big vintage floral print number. The next one down is the one I meant, the plain red and cream dresses. So I'm officially dead to fashion.

That style will come round again in due course - though it wouldn't suit my large tummy.  :(

I liked the sleeves too. I'll probably get that one, on sale, just because.
