Can anyone tell me if pounce powder will stain or does it come off like tailors chalk does please?
Thank you in advance.

Looks like a great product. Apparently you take if off by ironing it. Some reviewers have complained that it comes off while sewing it though.

To be honest that was my impression but I'm not a quilter and had never heard of it before so figured it would be better to ask a quilter. I've tried crushing tailors chalk in a mortar & pestle but I can't get it fine enough to come through my hem marker

Prick and pounce is a traditional way of transferring embroidery patterns. You draw/print the design onto paper, place it over the fabric and then stab little holes along the lines then dab the pounce over the holes. I've never tried it, but then pricking out a lace design (same technique) was never my favourite part of lacemaking.

I think the white powder is just chalk and the black is powdered charcoal, so the grey will be a mix.

Do tell us how you get on with using the pounce.
