FBA - moving a French dart

I've done an FBA on a dress with a French dart - how do I move the dart so it points at the new bust point?
Do I just lower it as per the PP book or do I rotate it ? And if so how?

I'd like to think I was inspired, but maybe sewing is just hard wired

Cut a line up the middle of the existing dart to the bust point, leaving a small connection like when you do the FBA. Then cut in a straight line to the bust point in the new location of your bust dart. Swing the "wedge" to close the old dart and open up a new one... Then redraw your dart legs.
