"Like" posts has arrived

Oh that's impressive. I don't even know how to alter things on a basic screen set up let alone get add-ons. The only reason I know they can be altered is because sometimes I've done it accidently and then I can't figure how to get it back. I try and then

Lilian, I use Firefox too, and the Hard Refresh worked for me.  It only took a minute, and I haven't had any further problems with it.

@Kwaaked Go to your profile (link at top of page), and then choose 'Look and layout' from the left hand side.  At the top of your profile there should be something that says 'Current Theme:'.

If this is not followed by 'Forum or Board Default (change)', then please click on 'change' and choose the 'Forum or Board Default' theme.

I am no doubt asking something that has come up before, for which I apologise.
I can't find out by searching, what is the difference between 'like' and 'thumbs up'. I know the latter adds points to the karma thing but us that the only difference?

I think the like thing shows you like the post, find it funny or empathise with the posters experience .

I think the 'thumbs up' adds to the person's karma without referring to a specific post, whereas the 'like' button attaches your 'like' to the post, and also adds to the poster's karma.

@Iminei Thank you. I understand the use of 'like' having been on other forums where it is available. What I don't understand is what is the difference between that and the thumbs up thing.

Now you've gone and made me think. What happens if someone were to thumbs down someone? Would it take Kharma points away???
