My local Smiths no longer has these on display.  I asked and they said that they can orfer it but are not getting copies to put on the stand.  Quite a few needle craft and quilting ones have disappeared off their shelves over the last few months. :(

My husband has just gone down to the newsagents to pick up the latest copy of Threads - issue 198.  Of course it was running late - but this happens and I have been chasing this for the last two weeks.

My local branch of Smith's is crowded with sewing titles and it could be that they are having a cull.

There are never more than a couple of issues of Threads, Burda and Ottobre, although I don't know the publication dates of these magazines and how many the branch orders.
What goes around comes around.

Our local Smiths had loads of sewing mag's when we popped in yesterday, including Threads, Burda and La Maison Victor.  No Ottobre but I don't think I've ever seen that in there.
