Pressing lines in linen?

Does anyone know how to get tramlines out of linen without industrial equipment please.
I made some linen trousers last week, decided I didn't like how they looked and fitted so altered them. Now I can't get the tramlines out of them  :'(.

I vaguely remember reading a tip somewhere which involves spraying the line with a weak vinegar and water solution and then pressing it with a steam iron.  I've never done it, so I don't know whether it would work.  You could try it on a scrap of your linen first, I suppose.  Good luck xx

Yes, the vinegar and water spray plus a pressing cloth is a must! Linen takes a shine very easily. You can also try using a very damp old cotton towel or tshirt as the press cloth to protect your fabric.
Hey Bill! Read the manual!  Hehehe.
