At last I have completed a garment and don't feel totally embarrassed or ashamed with my efforts!!
Hence I am posting some pictures.
This is a Woman sized pattern described as Modern Fit with RTW sizing.
I used this so I didn't have to do an FBA but I must say the bust darts are very (too) generous.
The blouse is on my Adjustoform which is quite a bit smaller (around the bust) than the pattern (and me) hence it might look at bit baggy...
The fabric was a remnant from Dunelm and I think its more of a craft/quilting fabric rather than dressmaking but it sort of works.
I really like the V-neck and I would make this blouse again with 3/4 sleeves.
I've taken a picture of the coverstitch hem for Jessie!!
One thing I have realised - I should use the same make of thread in both needles, even if I want to use different colours as you can actually notice the different thickness/texture of the two threads and the white doesn't show up as well.
Comments/observations welcome.
