I have favourite colour schemes and favourite designs. It's like choosing between children or pets.  :( I keep changing my mind.

Horribly difficult, and all worthy winners.  I've simply gone with personal preferences.

Beautiful work, all of you!

Jessie

eta, hope you're feeling better soon Low!
Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

So I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes :'(.  Not sure if I'm just feeling sorry for myself or awe at the wonderful workmanship (workwomanship?) or just pain relief that in the end I didn't have to pit myself against you lot!

My first quilt in my new sewing room will be for Project Linus.

@Lowena take care of yourself, stressing about PL was doing you no good, I'm pleased to see you posting again. <3 :flower:

Now that I've voted am I supposed to not see how the votes are going because I can't?
I'm sure with voting for other competitions I have been able to see them after I have voted but perhaps not.
Life's too short for ironing.

It's all part of the suspense @Ploshkin You'll have to wait for the best part of a fortnight........unless you change your vote  ;)

After I voted little bars came up to show me how it was going but those have now disappeared. I suppose it's for fairness. Someone might be influenced to vote for someone who hadn't very many.  :)

Exactly Wrenkies, I promised an anonymous vote and after a couple of blunders on my part, we now have one!
Also its fun to see if we can guess who's whose !! (did I get that right any ex english teachers??)

They will be on stand A50 ... so if you are at the NEC why not make a beeline to Stand A50 and meet us there!!!!!

Lovely quilts!

I passed on my voting to 2 experts.  My boys.  They thought it was a lovely idea and if they were poorly they said they would like a quilt as special as those.

Actually we were in hospital on Monday, oldest slipped off a rope swing at max swing and landed badly.  Right wrist in split for 3 weeks but as he says it doesn't hurt much I think they were being on the safe side and one week might be enough.  As we were about to get in the car for a picnic lunch I passed youngest, his lunch and car seat to my friend who was joining us with her two.  Oldest and I ate picnic in x-ray waiting room and met up with them for cinema in the afternoon.
Lurking in Lancashire, improving my sewing when life gives me time.
