He's not got a cast, just a velcro fastened splint on his wrist. To be honest I think it was just twisted and bruised. Doctor did say that the suspect bit in the x-ray might just the way his bone is but without an earlier x-ray to compare with you can't tell. Very little pain after the first day.

3 in his class and another 2 kids we know had broken arms in the past few months so this was probably on his mind. Always best to get checked if concerned though and he was very pale for a long time.

It has meant the curtailment of long days out so I've started my first quilt. If it works I think it will go to project Linus.

Talk about vote early, vote often. I don't know how many times I've changed my vote.  :S I love them all.

How do you change your vote?
There's a little symbol,  a + sign in a green square, just below the poll.  If you click on it there's the option to remove your vote, and then you can vote again.  I know this, because I have changed my vote several times.  I really need to stop looking at the fab pictures, because I keep noticing lovely little details and thinking 'oh hang on a minute, maybe ...'
They are all stunning, and every one of them deserves to be a winner!

I left my voting until nearer the cut-off date because I couldn't make up my mind. I thought it'd be easier if I took a long time making up my mind, but it hasn't made any difference. They're all lovely. I keep changing my mind, but I've voted now, and I'll stick with it, but they're gorgeous - so much work has gone into them. <3

You are sooo right @Fiona M ...

Congratulations to @Ploshkin and @Fajita

All the quilts were great, it was very hard to decide which to vote for.

Well done, @Ploshkin and @Fajita . Seeing all the quilts at Festival of Quilts didn't make it any easier to decide which ones to vote for.
