Wanted: (Vintage 90's) Style 3007
« on: August 21, 2018, 14:48:47 PM »
While I was in hospital, I continued the search for the ideal shirt dress pattern, and I think I've found it.

Style 3007

It's a Style pattern number 3007, and I think around about the 90's.

I did find a copy on Etsy, but a) it's only a size 12, and b) it's in America

If anyone has a copy to sell I would be very grateful.

The same pattern is available from a seller in West Sussex, but it's the same size. I'm not sure how easy it would be to adjust it to yours, but there are some details on bust, waist, hip and back measures, size 12 to 20, or 40 to 42, size standards are confusing.

Wow, arrow thank you! That was quick!

Not sure about the size though....  I'll check out the back of the envelope for finished sizes.

Now why couldn't I find that?  :)

This Lekala pattern is remarkably similar, if that's any help!
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

Acorn, thank you so much for your efforts. The Lekala pattern has a very similar silhouette, but the big difference is that the Style one is a shawl collar.

I think I may go for the Ebay one.  How hard can it be to size up from a 36 bust to a 42 ???  ;)

We could muddle through together Wren!

Pattern is ordered now, so better try to find some help enlarging the pattern.

I'm hoping that the amount of ease will take care of the size at the back, so I may just need a tweak on the yoke.  The front however, will need some more thought.....  ;)
