Table runner for my friends 60th wedding  anniversary .Her dinning room is cream and brown the blue I used is for diamonds

I don't know if they were ever a "thing" in the UK, but in the US when perusing estate sales (huge garage sale when elderly people must downsize to go to a nursing home or they died)  I often see anniversary plates- a decorative plate to hang on the wall with the pertinent personal info inscribed. I always think it's sad that no one in the family wants to keep these. Long marriage is such an accomplishment! I think a table runner like this would be much more "keepable". Any descendant could use it on occasion, without committing permanent display space.  It would be nice to use on holidays or anniversaries in memory of the couple.
