StyleArc Barb - with split

I needed some instant gratification after the Stash Sewalong intensity, so I made these.  They can't be part of the sewalong because I only bought the fabric last week.

It's a one way stretch, and was a remnant, which is why I had to cobble the waistband together.  I made these with a split at the sides which I like, and a rather wide waistband (which I may change).

I tried them on for OH last night, and he's picky, (doesn't like a baggy bum!), and he says they look great.  So, I have them on this morning, with grey stilettos (I may regret this) - all ready for the cinema.

Beauty and the Beast here we come!!  :)

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

Love the fabric Jessie... I have too have a recent purchase that I'm itching to make ... might try and squeeze it in as long as pesky work doesn't get in the way... enjoy the film  :D

Oh those do look very nice Jessie .

I've got that pattern and really must give it a try.

I'm also jealous of your ability to wear stilettos, can't even manage kitten heels for long these days.

They look fab, Jessie.  Any chance of a picture in the gallery of you wearing them with the stilettos - doesn't have to be a head to toe one, waist down will do.  ;)

Just for you UR, a couple of pics.  When I saw the pictures I realised that further adjustment was needed, so I took and inch off the waist, and made the waistband narrower - it was really wide!

I'll try to get pics of the altered trousers tonight.
