Has anyone used Kraft tex?

I want to make DH a wallet. I’ve worked out the dimensions and layout but if I use the leather I have, it will be quite thick and he wants a really thin one.  He only carries notes, a couple of cards and his bus pass.

Reading up on Kraft tex makes it sound ideal as I won’t have to finish the edges which will cut down on bulk.

I think it’s the fact that it’s made of paper that has me worried.

I made DS a wallet and myself a purse about 4 years ago and am pleased to say that they're still going strong. The kraft tex has softened slightly but shows no signs of disintegrating at all.
