It might be too late for this batch of bunnies, but would it be easier to crochet the eyes and buttons than to knit them?

With my limited experience of knitting and crochet I have decided that crochet is good for round things and knitting is good for square things.

Well, they are done! Labels on too. All ready for Easter Sunday.

Pictures tomorrow as I'm on my phone and it's a bit of a gaff.

I'm quietly pleased  :)  ( hope the children are too!)

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

I take my hat off to you Jessie, they're gorgeous and the children will love them I'm sure.  I admire your patience knitting all those fiddly bits and stitching them together.
Life's too short for ironing.

Those are mightily impressive - I hope the recipients were thrilled! ( I'm extra impressed as I'm in the process of knitting an Alan Dart hippo and have had to unpick the eyes ( too far back) , the ears ( too far back) and then take off the head because it was also attached ....too far back
