Ideas needed for a Halloween costume!

So here’s the thing! We’re hosting a Halloween party this year (DH’s idea not mine!) so I need an outfit that doesn’t look half-hearted.

You could probably get away with purple.

When I was at school a friend wore a grey witch's costume and looked very good indeed.
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

DS went to a Halloween party as a Smurf. White pillowcase for a hat. Blue clothes, blue dyed hair and blue coloured skin.  Looked great, didn't wash out for days.

You could try something less permanent?

Dress all in pink including shoes and go as Dolores Umbridge

Did that one year for GD.  School uniform colour happened to be red, so she probably already had the red gym leotard and tights.  Added a bit of organza for the skirt and you can't see it but there was a long 'tail' pinned to the back.  Glittered card for the fork and mask
