I have just made this top:

http://www.sewdirect.com/acatalog/Vogue-1522.html

I have been looking for tops that don't cling to every bulge and this is designed for woven fabrics rather than knits. To try it out I used a piece of fabric I got from a charity shop - a silky polyester (I think) with a sparkly silver pinstripe running through it. It hasn't turned out too badly (wearable anyway!). I left the flounce off the sleeve, so it has an odd pointy shape to the sleeve edge. The neck binding pattern piece was far too long. It's cut on the bias and is supposed to be stretched to fit - I cut 3cm off it and it still stands up a bit rather than lying flat! I thought, from the front and back diagram drawings, that the back lower edge would be curved, but it isn't. I'm not sure about doing it again with pricier fabric though.

I did take a picture but it doesn't show up well I'm afraid

Silky polyester stuff can change shape just by being looked at. and the fabric facing never matches the interfacing piece.

I have decided that the best way of dealing with facings with those fabrics is to cut the interfacing facing and cut a piece of main fabric 1-2cm bigger all round and then fuse the interfacing to the main fabric and trim off the excess.

That's a good tip BrendaP - I'm making a note of that one!
