I find many of the patterns interesting - though my stash has a plethora so best leave these to the younger/newer sewist.

The Tilton patterns are usually interesting, but the fabrics and finishes are most always of low quality - once again - "different" is not always "better". Just faster and cheaper - so why not buy OTR?

I think the samples are made of inferior products because that is what is available to most home sewists - and lets face facts - the newbie crowd hasn't had the opportunity to learn the difference.

No problem @Tamnymore.  I felt I had to take one for the team, so to speak   In the same spirit I stroked and caressed my way around Mood fabrics and as they had so much stock I felt it was my duty, as an upstanding citizen, to relieve them of some of it

Not much there that floats my boat, except the vintage pattern. I have a beautiful piece of burgundy wool crepe, but unfortunately not enough, which means more fabric shopping

A lot of these are featured in the new Sew Today magazine. I do find it makes a difference seeing the larger photos. I have almost decided to buy 1602, 1607 and 9351.

I`m getting really worried about @UttaRetch  - she was always first to let us know when new patterns were out.  I hope she is ok (I hope we haven`t done anything to upset her)
