Fantastic - it looks like a tornado to me.   0_0
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

That's beautiful Pearl. You've got a lot more patience than me, I'd be demented by now.  :)

Wow! That's a knockout. I don't think I'd have the patience for that either, but it's stunning. :flower:

Thanks, all. Thanks for your help and encouragement when I was prepping too.  Couldn’t have done it without you.  I had to change some of the black and white strata as Jan said the solid white would be too dominant, so I changed the lightest three.    :S

Would love to work on this today but have to go to work.

Your quilt will be stunning. Love the colour selection. I made a Bargello quilt many years ago but it wasn’t curved.

I'm working on this today to make it longer.  I probably add some columns too so that it looks less 8-like.

The columns are labelled with letters of the alphabet.  I've just caught myself mumbling, "I need F in purple."   :o :| :D

My class teachers favourite phrase is "there's no f in phonics".
We are easily amused, lol.

Did you read on the Today thread that I am tidying my sewing room?  How we laughed!

I came across this.  I added some more rows but didn't have enough of one fabric to add columns.  (This is what happens when you try to use your stash... and offer fabric to a classmate.)

I've been thinking of taking off some of the rows from the top and the bottom to make it look less 8-like, but when I took the photo, I like it as it is.  What do you think?

It’s lovely, just love the way the colours make the shapes, they sort of change every time you look at them

That's beautiful  It doesn't strike me as being 8-like, more like waves.

Wow, that is gorgeous. Not '8 like' at all.

Don't remove any bits, it would take away the lovely curved illusion.  It's perfect as it is.
Life's too short for ironing.
