Ordering wool from the Wool Warehouse, there seem to be a lot of discount codes on the web. Are these legit or some sort of scam? Can anyone explain?

I don't know about Wool Warehouse in particular, but I've never got any of these web discount codes to work.  The ones that pop up when you first visit the site or the ones that come by newsletter are the ones to go for.

Normally those sites just provide aggregated codes from all over the web so they'll be legitimate but won't always work as it's essentially not meant to be listed.

It can't be a scam, because there is no way that providing a discount code would give a scammer any benefit. In order for something to be a scam there has to be somewhere for someone to profit.

If they don't work it's either because the company pulled them after they were leaked or they require genuine entry conditions that haven't been met.

I did wonder if it might pop up a second site to go through, or maybe it might be defrauding the company concerned. I'm probably overthinking it.  What would be the point of all these discount code sites then?  Weird things happen on the Internet.

Probably lots of advertising on the voucher sites themselves plus they might do affiliate deals with the companies (e.g get paid for linking people to the site who then buy - same way that cashback sites work).
