Yes, I made all the little decorations. That’s why I did them two at a time : they’re so fiddly, so once I had found the right bit of fabric, felt, beads etc, it was easier to make two. I thought I’d wait until next year to do baby Mirren’s, but there are still 3 weeks and what else do I have to do !

That's lovely sheilago.  I have fond memories of the excitement of advent calendars from my childhood and they were just cheap, card ones with pictures behind the doors.  I'll bet your grandchildren will still remember theirs when they have grandchildren of their own.

Had a look at Oct and Nov BOM and saw curves! I’ve never attempted curves!

Two weeks later, and I JUST started my first flannel baby quilt yesterday! I know what I'll be doing all weekend. Thankfully, I've got tons of pre-cut flannel squares, so these are just a matter of choosing colors and layout then stitching away.

I had Novembers pattern for a while and was equally apprehensive but I assure you they are really simple ... they go together beautifully easily!

Work on one set of blocks (November ... if you do more than one) at a time as they are cut for each other.

My head is quillowing madly (see Stitch fiddle thread) while I look as if I'm doing other things. 

If only my bank would get a wriggle on and un-cancel my card, I could get ordering. Of course I could always have a hoke through my stash....
