Finally made a decision on a no. 6 (it's the light one).  Here's my stage 3.
Life's too short for ironing.

Lovely combination - and I really, really love that darker fabric.   <3
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

My first photo is more accurate re the colours. A creamy palish yellow for fabric 1 and a rich browny no6

Loving your darker brown batik Low and your dark blue leave print Plosh and they are going to make two very different quilts as Plosh is going for a dark background and Low (iirc) a light background!! How exciting!

I say it in my head as 'If I recall correctly' means the same but a bit smoother on the mental tongue.  :P

Where else would you keep them, Sakar?

Did you miss someone misunderstanding the phrase'ducks behind the sofa'? It is a way of saying 'I'm going to hide down here', often used when watching the scary monster on Doctor Who, or having said something impertinent, to hide from the person you've just upset. But someone thought the ducks were of the feathered variety and did wonder 'What are the ducks doing behind the sofa??' and it's become a 'dark side' joke. :D

It was me Sakar! I got all confused and muddled about ducks until the penny fell! And in honour of my numptiness I have with great seriousness and aplomb named my bulk roll of batting which lives behind my sofa...."Ducks"! And now every time I wrestle the blooming thing out to use some of it I am reminded of my "moment of glory!"
