The first one is the same style as a friend of mine who makes embroidered pictures and then gets them printed as cards etc.

I like them .. they are clever but how big are they ? they look like pieces of art rather than quilts... which I think of as bed/ snuggle size... that's not saying I wouldn't put one in a frame

I wouldn't hold your breath, Lowena, I'm nowhere skilled enough with FMQ or have the imagination  I will have to do a lot more practicing.

 Oooo I do love these 'art' quilts.  I'd not seen any until going to Harrogate Quilt Show last year and they're fab.  I especially love it when different materials are added too.....wonderfully creative
