and I bet you anything that a sixties size 10 would be waaaay smaller than todays shops size 10's!!! (size 10 my a**e!)
hell yeah- my 1980 size 10 wedding dress was WAY too small for my tiny thin daughters by the time they were about 14...yet when the youngest was trying on wedding dresses a few years ago, size 4 was too big on her.  Insane!

Managed to pull a picture of the fabric print from my email, will take a proper picture at some point. But you can get the idea!

If you are thinking of using that fabric make sure it's a skirt with panels rather than a circular one.  Stripes loose their effect on a circle and just look odd.

BTW - to me that design looks more 1920s than 1960s.  The Mary Quant stylised flowers would be more authentic looking.

Looking forward to seeing what you make, Fran - I love the 60s fashions. I have used both of these patterns, (and Butterick patterns are half price at the mo)
I don't know how authentic they are for 60s but I loved them!  <3

Would love to go to GR too - maybe one day!
