I'm not doing very well, I'm adding to rather than subtracting from the stash.   :S

Not only did the postie bring three lengths from Minerva, some plain lycra to make a dummy top cover and a lovely piece of black/blue/purple jersey for a top, but also some rather strange animal devore print with slashes all over it.  Methinks that will become long term stash :o.  I also bought 3m of pink cotton at craft club for £1 (someone else's stash) that will make a nice summer dress and I'm expecting a parcel from Fran.   0_0

Busting.....bursting.....easy mistake

<3 <3 <3 that dress @Efemera . What pattern did you use? (Or have you told us? I may have missed it).

You remember those enormously voluminous origami coat patterns that Issey Miyake did a few years ago? As they use up about 5m a pop a few of those would make a fair old dent in the stash

It’s a bodged version of a KnipMode magazine pattern but I reckon it would be an easy one to draft.its a basic bodice chopped just under the bust line.
This is the shape of the bottom pieces.if you want a high low hem then cut one main skirt piece on the red line

Thank you @Efemera . I have that Knipmode pattern as I bought a trial subscription for 3 issues last year so I'll have to look it out.

You guys are galloping ahead with your entries. I have to finish off a non-stash shirt before I get onto the stash busting.

@BrendaP I wouldn't beat yourself up over it.  I usually say no fabric and have a spectacular year of fabric choices and buying.

I've been really good this year.  Sure!  *slides box of fabric under table with foot*

@Efemera love the fabric that you made the tunic in, can you remember were it was from?
I did make a top yesterday using a panel print I have had for about 8 months but wouldn't you just know it the battery's in the camera are dead. Once I have replaced will post picture. I have also cut out The Divas 1st dress, a simple shift from some faux leather that has been lurking under my sewing table for a t least 10 years.
It's not easy being this perfekt

Gotten started!  I have the body and lining cut for a much needed bag, all items including the interfacing and zip are from stash.

ENTRY NO 1 (taken out of 3m)

I don't think is in any way an award-winning garment, but to add to the numbers, here it is! I needed a new dressing gown for my up-coming hospital stay and I had this fabric which I bought from @Francesca back in April(?) without any clear purpose in mind. The pattern is rehashed from Kwik Sew 3209. It comes with a hood or a funny neckband which I didn't like, so I replaced the hood with a facing. This, however made the neckline too high for me so I had to chop off the top of the zip to lower it. It now has a self-bound edge so that I could enclose the raw edges of the zip. It has in-seam pockets which are most unflattering to my shape but you can't carry anything when on crutches so I shall need them! I have bit of fabric left which might be enough for a top, we shall see.
