Number 5.. anther Marcy Tilton V9300
I added a pocket to the left front, the front fold detail is a little lost, probably because I’ve made a fat size and a very patterned fabric from Abakhan.

Number 6 ...Another top from a RTW, bound necklines as the jersey is over printed with a faux suede effect and it doesn’t fold and press nicely on those bits.

@Efemera you've found some interesting fabrics there, they'll be very useful.

@Efemera Great tops!  I really, really love that grey and yellow - don't suppose you've got any left over you'd like to sell??  I checked Abakhan's website and they don't have it  :(

Sorry @Bodgeitandscarper it was from the remnant bin.. the woolly knit stuff is really cheap as it’s sold by weight and it weighs almost nothing...I’m planning another trip to Preston in the not too distant future.

I do miss Abakhan's remnants!  If you do see any more,  @Efemera , would you be wiling to buy and post it to me?  Please say no if it's a problem for you, I'm being really cheeky asking I know!  Although I doubt they'll have the same thing again  :(

I'm making a blouse in a sheer viscose voile underlined with a silk cotton, and I thought it would slide about but it is being very well behaved. I did baste the main pieces together instead of relying on pins. I'm going to make the sleeves with no underlining as I'm not worried about showing my arms. It should be finished in a day or so. I also have some navy silk chiffon to turn into another blouse, which may not be so cooperative.
A day without sewing is a day wasted.

Wow, what wonderful things are being made here!
I've two pair of leggings on the go, using about 3m of lycra cotton jersey that I have had in my stash for at least 18 months. and this weekend I cut out a coat, 3.5m (2 years) of coating and 3m (4 years) lining. Just a tad worried I might be creating UFOs.  Now to get on with the marking.

Good luck with the coat Lyn. I quie enjoyed mine once I got going with it.

I have stopped cutting out ahead more than 1 extra project because I just end up in a mess, hopefully you have more focus and discipline than me!

I have 2 things where I have cut out some bits of a garment and need to cut the rest out of something else and so am dilly dallying. One is a top which needs a back and sleeves, the other a skirt which needs pockets and lining. Need to try to get motivated on it I suppose.

I've finished item 4, a Vogue 9285 blouse. It used 2.5m of voile plus underlining.

I'm quite pleased with this, it will go with my smart trousers and jackets.
