Entry #6 : only 0.25 m this time! superhero cape & belt for 6 week old GS for a party end of January.  He's a long baby so his 0-3 month definitely won't fit in 2 weeks' tine.  I now need to find a yellow babygro age 3 month+ and stitch on Velcro dots to attach cape and belt.

@Efemera, it would help me enormously if you could keep track of you number of projects, this one is your number 8. Please understand that it is very time consuming to keep track of every entry, modifying the posts so the pictures turn up in the text.
There are currently 30 entries to the contest, so it helps when they are clearly labeled. Thank you and apologies if I overlooked one.

Just catching up with all your entries, all wonderful. I am afraid, what with one thing and another, I have way behind. I am hoping to re-discover my sewing room sometime in the next couple of days.
It's not easy being this perfekt

There are so many wonderful entries! Voting is going to be difficult

I still want to try to get my habit made for this contest, not sure it's possible with the time left though! I'm going to attempt the skirt first because it should be fairly quick, the jacket might be slightly longer (each piece needs cutting 3x) and I'm still unsure of which size to cut as I've never made a bodice from this era before - it's fitted over a corset so I think minimal ease, but then again it's also designed to ride in so I'll need quite a lot of freedom of movement. And it's a modern pattern so it has masses of ease built in, even though in the illustrations it's definitely over a corset and very fitted.

Style Arc Lorena coatigan in thick wool knit. It needs a thorough press!

Entries #6 and #7. 0.4m and 0.4m used. Scroop Wonderunder camis in navy and cream slinky jersey. I need more practice in attaching FOE obviously, but they look better on me, and will never be seen in public.

I will cut out a Lekala blouse this pm ,and hope to get it finished by 31st. My boxes look a bit emptier, but some more fabric arrived this morning.  :*

@Starryfish - I love your coatigan.  Do you see any reason it wouldn't work with a lining and buttons?  I have some wool and lining that really need to be made up into a coat!
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

@Acorn , it would definitely work with a lining. The facing is a perfectly normal shape, so all you need is to draft a lining front and you are away. Buttons would work as well, there is an overlap.

Thank you - I think it's just what I want.  I might wait and see what the Style Arc free offers are for February and get it then!
