This project began as an offshoot of a local group's project. They donate fleece tie blankets to the local human services office as Christmas gifts for all the kids that are in foster care at Christmas. Human Services requested real flannel baby quilts for the under-2 babies. This group did not have the skill to make them, so I volunteered. This is the second year I've done them. Fabric is a combination of purchased and donated. They are not complicated quilts, but they can be a challenge to lay out so that I use up random leftover prints and keep the colors looking cohesive. I need to make 15 each year.  When you click on the photo it will take you to Flickr and clicking on the left-arrow will show you the rest of the quilts.

That's a lot of beautiful quilts to be making and giving away. I admire your hard work and charity.  :flower: :flower:

They are beautiful and I'm sure they'll be treasured by the children.

Well done Wendy - that's a lovely thing to do in a lot of ways.   :)
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.
