As you may have seen on the Today thread, I am working on the mystery quilt from 2017.

Originally, I planned to make a wall-hanging but really like the secondary pattern on the double.  I don't have enough fabric for this size and cannot get any more of fabric 5, so I've decided to go with plan C - finish it wall-hanging size and then consider how to make it bigger with the fabrics I already have.

I've done that before @Pearl. I didn't have enough for the borders and got some similarish.
Which fabric is it and might someone here have some?

Thanks, @wrenkins , but I've already asked on here and on Fb.  That's how it became a UFO.  I bought two different sorts of similarish fabric which I will use to add more pieced borders.

ETA - I appear to have made clue 6 using the wrong four patches.  :-(

This has been cut out for about 2 years.  I haven't finished it because it was massive - I've lost a lot of weight since I cut it out, so it ended up in the UFO pile. It's cut from New Look 6230, and I cut a size 20 I believe.

It was a remnant which had been in the stash for years, a very soft stretchy knit, and there wasn't quite enough without piecing the sleeves.  So, the bottom of each sleeve is pieced, although it looks fine.  It's only for work.

After finishing the white one (in the stashbuster challenge), I decided to spend some time finishing this one, and I'm glad I did.  I had to cut about 3" off the length as I couldn't find the neckband, and it's fine. I'm going to unpick the hem at some point as the fabric kept shifting - I think I was impatient to finish.  I'll bit the bullet, and thread the coverstitch up.

@b15erk
Really like the two tops.  The neckline (particularly on the white version, as its more obvious) is fantastic.
Remind me of the pattern number (as when I looked it up earlier, the neckline seems a lot higher).
TIA

Thanks Annie, it's New Look 6230, and there is a V neck version as well.

Nothing to report, all UFo's still snug in their resting places.

Did however just remember another...cough cough...Disappearing 9 Patch throw, actually the first one I tried, in lovely Spring hues, an English Garden type floral for the big squares, assorted green foliage types for the half block parts and a red from the floral for the small accent square.

As Spring is hard upon us I should likely start there. It's going to be 70-79 F over Fri to Monday, or 21-26 C for you all.  :S This after very low 60's and upper 50's....

Well Im one step nearer to finishing one of my UFO as I have pieced the top of Number 5, the 100 shades of Grey which has turned into a full size whopper of a quilt!!

Im not sure Im going to be able to layer this, let alone quilt it at a humongous 80"sq (approx) as seen here...

linky

Backing needs buying too, but at least its finally pieced.   -<

It looks really good .. Just  <3 that grey with the blue and other colours.
If it's too big, can you remove some blocks and make posh pillow shams?

This one really deserves a drum roll!  Started when we were all at the 'old place', and I would say at a guess, probably 5 years ago, give or take a year.

It was a free pattern for a Weekender bag, but I can't remember which one, and I altered it a lot.  Made from upholstery remnants, and stiffened with some sort of adhesive Buckram(?), it wasn't the easiest sew.  The lining is voile (not a good choice) which I stabilised.  I used it because it looked good.

I added several pockets, some even zipped and a keykeeper.

The reason it took so long was that it was a pig to sew, and all it's been waiting for is the lining to be sewn down.  I did try to machine it, but the Pfaff didn't like it, so I sat down, bit the bullet, and sewed it in by hand:o  It was tough on my hands, and I did resort to a thimble, but it's done!

Not my best work, but it may get used  :S, or not.

OOoh I love that Jessie. Good pattern matching!  :loveit:
I have a big lump of very heavy upholstery fabric left over from curtains years ago and my plan was a 'carpet' bag. I downloaded an Annie bag tute off Craftsy but have never had the courage to start. If you say it was really hard to sew, I may just do something simpler with it.  It really is like carpet.  :S
