Unless the weather bucks up it will be a very cool colours quilt.
Life's too short for ironing.

At the end of this week I will be able to lay out 6 months worth of quilt and see if Im going for a one sided quilt or a reversible (shudders at the layering logistics)

I'm in a bit of a quandary after yesterdays hot, high temperature  -< ...31 degrees here, apparently.  :S

I'd chosen my colours up to 27 degrees...but beyond that, I hadn't made my final choices. I've got lots of reds (too many, too similar) so I'm trying to veer off into a more hot pinky/red sort of colour for the rare, higher temps.

I've been online to Doughty's and have ordered some deep, hot pinks/reds. Well that's what they sort of looked like online.
Two arrived yesterday...they're red again, although I think I can use the one, mottled, blotchy one. Two more will follow in the week.

These are the fabrics I've got so far. Depending on the fabrics arriving in the week, I think I'll use the paler, blotchy fabric in the centre of the picture.

Gosh. Isn't it annoying having to buy all this batik fabric, looking for the right shade.  0_0

June's looking good. Lots of orange, and the night-time temps show lots of green.  :)

Half-way there and this is how it's looking....

Managed to get some colours I think I'm happy with for the higher and hotter temps...my temperature colour strip now goes from orange to red to borderline raspberry-ish pink.
I've got the colours up to 32 degrees, and I don't expect I'll need to get any higher.

That's what I'm doing too, @Lowena (or would be if I had time to sew).

0_0 Ha, ha...famous last words in my last post #217.

Yes. I've got the colours sorted up to 32...and today I might need as high as 33 degrees.  :S

Mustn't grumble.

I'll leave it a day or two for the weather site to update to their final temp. (They adjust it sometimes in the following few days afterwards.)
Luckily, I'll be at the FoQ next week if I need more colours. I should be spoiled by choice when I'm there.
