I've started cutting out.  0_0
I have little ziplock bags labelled with the temperature ranges and some pieces in.

I have some practice blocks and calculations.  Now to find the courage to cut the "real" fabric.  It's going to be -4 overnight.

You've both made a good start already.

I'm still agonising over choice of colours and how I'm going to do it.  -<

@Sandra that's my downfall. I just launched in this time otherwise I'd have half the internet on my Pinterest and I'd still be faffing in September!   -<

The beauty of this one is that we really could leave it until September before we start it.  0_0

I've not been adding anything on Pinterest today, but I've been looking at lots (and lots) of different fabrics. I haven't found my colours yet.

What size temperature range are you using for each colour?

I was thinking 5 degrees but that won’t use that many colours.

Haven’t checked the stats yet but we usually go from about -5 at the worst to high 20s if we have a summer like last year

I'm only using two degrees for each colour as I wanted to include lots of colours. Am going from -2 and below to 33+ so that's 19 colours.

Yes, I wanted to show the high and low temperatures.  I really like the flying geese one but know I need something that won't take too much time when I go back to work.  I'm going to do them in different directions and mix them up.

I'm not doing night temps and I'm doing four degrees per colour from <-5 to >30. If I don't keep it simple I know I'll wander off.....
ETA I'm doing it by hand.  0_0

It's really great how many people are already working on this project  0_0

I have just found a rainbow collection of fabrics, which I bought.... I don't know  .... somewhere.... in holidays in 2017....  :P Maybe someone recognises the address on the invoice ;)

Now I have to decide about the temperature steps.

I will make it in hexagons and I want to make 2 cities, for comparison of climate here and there.

I just wonder about the layout. Shall I do recognicable months like this one?

Or shall it be in lines?
How could I make the two different cities in a nice layout?

@wrenkins  that is absolutely brilliant It never crossed my mind to prep like that for this.  The nice part of always having access to the weather data online is you can wait on starting if you don"t have a plan or fabrics yet.
Hey Bill! Read the manual!  Hehehe.
